Marina Simpson has devoted her career to serving others, whether it is to her family, her community or her work. Marina became the Executive Director after years of serving the United Way of Baldwin County. Her service to UWBC began as a volunteer in 2009. In 2010, she was the founding chairman of the United Way of Baldwin County Young Leaders Society. In 2013, she joined the UWBC Board of Directors and most recently served as Vice-Chair of the board.
Prior to joining United Way, Marina spent 11 years in the banking industry, specifically in the area of PR and Marketing. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from the University of Alabama.
In addition to her service to United Way, Marina has served the Baldwin County community in several organizations including: Treasurer of CAREHouse, Baldwin County’s Child Advocacy Center, Community Service Coordinator to MOPS on the Eastern Shore, member of the Daphne/Spanish Fort Kiwanis Club and previous Advisory Board member for the South Baldwin Regional Medical Center Healthy Woman program.
Marina is married to Matt Simpson and they live in Daphne with their 2 children.
