
From offering a hand up to building tomorrow's leaders, United Way of Baldwin County creates lasting change in our community.
The IRS is offering free tax-filing help to older and low-income filers through a number of community organizations and businesses in Baldwin County starting this week. The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program (VITA) and Tax Counseling for the Elderly (TCE) provides free tax preparation services and education about tax credits to households with annual incomes of $50,000 or less.
To find a local site and make an appointment, dial 2-1-1 for the United Way or 1-800-906-9887, the IRS Locator Line. The following United Way partner agencies are participating in the program: Community Action Agency of South Alabama in Daphne, and Goodwill Easter Seals branches in Fairhope, Bay Minette, and Foley. United Bank in Foley is also a site.
